Training Wednesday 25th Mar

This week we will set up with choosing a T4 class ship you feel best suited to and we will go against a larger force of T8 with the AI set to low at first. Most of them will be allowed to shoot back.
The aim is to get used to using focus fire on 1 ship and kill it before moving on to the next target. It may be that some will focus on 1 target and another group will focus on a different target. When engaging in a battle things can change in a second and having the ability to alter strategy on the fly is important.

DD's will scout 10km ahead but not get detected, if they are then retreat back, DD to keep undetected but remain in position to light up the enemy. They can launch torps but no guns. If the group comes under heavy fire then DD's to return and give covering smoke. DD's are not to stay in the smoke but need to be outside to continue lighting up the bad guys.

When an enemy ship is detected fire will be focused on them until dead. Try and keep minimum 3 km separation from friendly ship to allow them room to move, in reality this distance will probably reduce because we all forget to keep an eye on what is going on around us. Those with poor eyesight please Try not to collide with an Island.
If you become the target of focused fire from enemy and have less than 50% health stop shooting to reduce your detectability.
